Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for an intelligent multilingual Indian language chatbot platform. The system comprises a client interaction layer, API gateway layer, core processing layer, integration and voice layer, and data storage layer. A six-stage NLP pipeline performs FastText-based language detection, preprocessing, multilingual intent classification, named entity recognition, knowledge base retrieval, and response generation. The platform supports Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, English, and code-mixed inputs. A context management module maintains rolling conversation history, extracted entities, active intent, and dialogue stage for multi-turn coherence. Voice interaction is enabled through Indian-language automatic speech recognition with audio preprocessing and text-to-speech routing through language-specific providers. A locally hosted large language model provides privacy-preserving generative fallback without transmitting user data to external cloud systems. The platform supports server-sent event streaming, Docker-based microservices deployment, RESTful administrative APIs, multilingual knowledge base management, low-latency responses, and inclusive native-language digital access.
