Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for AI-Verified Blockchain-Based Academic Credential Management The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for AI verified blockchain academic credential management. The disclosed system securely obtains academic credentials and computes multidimensional credential fingerprints based on structural, textual, graphical, metadata and embedded security features . The adaptive artificial intelligence engine validates the credentials by learning new fraud techniques and institution-specific credential patterns on a continuing basis. Authenticity confidence, credential consistency, blockchain integrity, issuer reliability, and verification history are used to calculate a dynamic credential trust score. The verifiable credential information is securely recorded in a version-controlled blockchain ledger using decentralized consensus validation . In addition, the system includes privacy-preserving selective credential disclosure by means of cryptographic proofs, semantic interoperability for diverse credential formats, secure offline verification through encrypted verification capsules, explainable verification reporting, continuous credential lifecycle monitoring, and adaptive optimization of verification workflows. The disclosed invention enhances credential integrity, fraud detection, privacy protection, interoperability, scalability, computational efficiency and verification reliability to provide a secure, intelligent, decentralized and tamper-resistant academic credential management framework.
