Abstract: A method for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven edge computing in Internet of Things (IoT) devices (106a, 106b) is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by an edge orchestration controller (104), operational data from a plurality of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The method includes generating a contextual execution model (102) for the one or more application tasks. The method includes determining a distributed execution plan based on the contextual execution model. The method includes partitioning one or more application tasks into a plurality of execution segments. The method includes initiating distributed execution of the plurality of execution segments at the corresponding execution locations. The method includes updating the distributed execution plan in response to the execution status information. The method includes aggregating intermediate execution results. The method includes generating a final application output and transmitting the final application output to the plurality of IoT devices for subsequent operation.
