Inventors include Md Gauhar Hasnain; Mrs. Surbhi Suman; and Ms. Ritu Mishra.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for AI-based real-time detection and prevention of deepfake content in digital media. The invention utilizes multimodal analysis of images, videos, audio signals, and metadata through artificial intelligence models including convolutional neural networks, transformer networks, recurrent neural networks, and anomaly detection algorithms. Extracted features are processed by an intelligence fusion engine that generates authenticity, credibility, and risk scores. Upon detection of suspicious or manipulated content, a prevention module automatically performs warning generation, content restriction, quarantine, human review, or publication blocking. The invention further incorporates continuous learning mechanisms for improving detection accuracy against emerging deepfake techniques. The system enables scalable, real-time protection against misinformation, identity fraud, and synthetic media threats across digital platforms.
