Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for AI-Based Network Anomaly Detection and Automated Response The present disclosure relates to a system and method for network anomaly detection and AI based automated response. The system ingests time-stamped network telemetry and outputs an observed network state consisting of temporal, topological, communication and resource-state parameters. An AI-based predictive state reconstruction module generates a predicted network state and a deviation engine calculates deviations between the observed and predicted states. A causal anomaly analysis module creates a causal representation of correlated anomalous events. A causal network-state twin predicts the post-response network states by evaluating candidate response actions. The allowable technical operating envelope for selecting and executing a response through a programmable network-control interface is defined as a response-impact envelope. A response verification module measures an actual post-response network state, determines a response deviation from the predicted state, and initiates corrective or rollback control when required. The system thus provides closed-loop anomaly detection, automated response, technically constrained, and verified network recovery.
