MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611107809 A) filed by Patel Akshar Parshubhai on September 08, 2026, for System And Method For Ai-Based Healthcare Triage Using Multimodal Evidence Fusion And Dynamic Diagnostic Reliability Scoring.

Inventor includes Patel Akshar Parshubhai.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an artificial-intelligence based healthcare triage system and computer-implemented method for generating adaptive patient-priority recommendations from heterogeneous clinical evidence. Multimodal patient evidence is received with temporal and provenance metadata and processed by modality- specific models to obtain clinical feature representations, uncertainty descriptors and quality information. A multimodal evidence fusion engine forms a patient evidence state, preferably as an evidence graph. A dynamic diagnostic reliability scoring module assigns evidence-specific reliability scores using data quality, temporal freshness, source credibility, model uncertainty and cross-modal consistency, and the scores control the contribution of respective evidence items to the fused state. A triage decision engine generates a triage category, urgency information and escalation output, while a safety and explanation module identifies supporting evidence, down-weighted evidence, unresolved contradictions and useful missing evidence. New evidence or clinician feedback causes selective recomputation of affected reliability scores and fusion contributions to update the triage recommendation with an auditable change history.
