Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for AI-Based Early Disease Detection and Clinical Decision Support The present invention relates to a system and method for AI- based early detection of disease and adaptive clinical decision support. The system collects multimodal clinical data from medical imaging systems, laboratory investigations, physiological sensors, wearable devices, electronic health records, medication history and clinician observations. The acquired information is validated by a physiological signal quality assessment module and aligned in time by a multimodal physiological synchronization module. An adaptive physiological evidence fusion engine computes dynamic evidence reliability scores and a clinical evidence calibration matrix customizes diagnostic feature significance according to patient specific physiological characteristics. An adaptive disease pattern discovery engine learns disease-specific physiological signatures, and a diagnostic uncertainty quantification module estimates the confidence on the prediction. When the level of diagnostic uncertainty exceeds a prespecified threshold, a progressive diagnostic refinement engine selectively recommends further clinical investigations to increase diagnostic certainty. An explainable clinical reasoning module generates evidence- based diagnostic interpretations, and a clinical recommendation optimization module generates prioritized clinical guidance. The presented system improves diagnostic accuracy, reduces unnecessary investigations, improves interpretability and provides reliable, adaptive, evidence-driven clinical decision support for early disease detection.
