The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AI-BASED ADAPTIVE MULTI-HAZARD SAFETY ASSESSMENT AND PRIORITIZATION IN SMART-HOME ENVIRONMENTS A system for AI-based adaptive multi-hazard safety assessment and prioritization in smart-home environments is provided. The system 100 includes sensors and Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices 102, a network 104, an edge controller 106, a smart-home monitoring server 108 including AI-based model 108A, and a dashboard 110. The sensors and IoT devices 102 continuously acquire environmental and operational parameters associated with monitored home and transmit the acquired parameters through the network 104. The edge controller 106 performs local processing and deterministic safety control for physical hazard conditions. The server 108 processes the received information using the AI-based model 108A to generate heterogeneous safety evidence, adaptively assess multiple hazards, determine contextual dependencies, calculate hazard risk scores, prioritize the hazards, generate a Dynamic Safety Index representing overall safety condition and provide an explainable safety decision including a prioritized hazard, supporting evidence, confidence information, and a recommended safety action on the dashboard 110.
