MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641068275 A) filed by Mestis Energy Private Limited on May 28, 2026, for System And Method For Adaptively Charging A Battery Pack.

Inventors include R, Krishna Prasad; Tyagi, Sheetanshu; and Patel, Rahul.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: A system (102) and method (200) for adaptively charging a battery pack is disclosed. The system (102) may include a processor (104) and a memory (106) storing instructions to control charging adaptively. A data acquisition module (116) may receive real-time operational parameters including terminal voltage, load current, and temperature. An electrochemical state estimator module (118) may generate internal electrochemical states using a predefined electrochemical model configured to decouple an intercalation reaction rate from a side-reaction rate. An adaptive charging module (120) may determine a dynamic charging protocol comprising a sequence of current commands based on the estimated states, adjusting the commands to maintain the states within a safety limit. A power regulation module (122) may regulate an electrical power supply to the battery pack in accordance with the protocol to suppress lithium plating and maintain safety.
