MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641051671 A) filed by Pwin Technologies Private Limited on April 23, 2026, for System And Method For Adaptive Contextual Memory Management In An Artificial Intelligence Agent.
Inventors include Pratap Kumar Behera; and Chinmoy Kumar Nanda.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A system (106) and method for adaptive contextual memory management in an artificial intelligence agent is disclosed. The method includes retrieving one or more memory segments from a plurality of memory layers comprising a creator memory layer (302), a user memory layer (304), and a platform memory layer (306). Cross-layer influence rules are applied to the retrieved memory segments to define a precedence relationship among the memory layers. The retrieved memory segments are evaluated based on relevance, consistency, and execution context, and an execution-specific context is generated by combining the evaluated memory segments in accordance with the applied rules. The generated execution-specific context is automatically embedded into a system prompt without manual intervention. The artificial intelligence agent is executed using the system prompt, thereby enabling adaptive and context-aware operation across multiple executions.
