MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621084886 A) filed by Persistent Systems Limited on July 10, 2026, for System And Method For Adaptive Context Referencing Using Multi-Mode Context Delivery For Agentic Computing Systems.
Inventors include Mr. Nitish Shrivastava; and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) and method for adaptive context referencing in agentic computing environments are disclosed. A reference request (140) is received from a consuming agentic system (130), and a context contract (150) is generated or received. A horizon planner (160) identifies candidate context objects and candidate retrieval strategies. A context prism selector (170) generates and evaluates a prism feature vector (172) representing request properties, context properties, agent capabilities, freshness requirements, latency constraints, confidence requirements, governance requirements, and cost constraints. the context prism selector (170) dynamically selects among inline mode, lite mode, deep mode, hybrid mode, progressive mode, streaming mode, or federated mode. A serving runtime (190) executes the selected mode to generate a context reference envelope (200) comprising contextual intelligence, evidence, lineage, freshness metadata, confidence metadata, and a mode selection trace. The invention enables adaptive context delivery based on task requirements, consumer characteristics, and runtime conditions.
