MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611100541 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 18, 2026, for System And Method For A Wearable Intraoral Device.
Inventor includes B Gyani Priyanka Patnaik.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) and method for real-time signal processing in an intraoral device for acquiring and analysing biomechanical data within an oral cavity. The system (100) comprises an intraoral multi-sensor array (101) configured to capture raw data, a low-power microcontroller (102) for real-time processing, and a memory (103) storing filtering algorithms. The system includes a multi-sensor filtering process (103a) and a bio-noise cancellation process (103b) to remove sensor specific noise and biological artifacts such as saliva interference and involuntary movements. A synchronization module (104) aligns data streams from multiple sensors, and a data fusion module (105) generates a unified biomechanical data stream representing oral movement characteristics. A wireless communication module (106) transmits the processed data to an external device for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The invention further includes calibration and adaptive filtering to improve accuracy and enable reliable, real-time intraoral biomechanical analysis.
