Abstract: ABSTRACT SYNERGISTIC HERBICIDAL COMBINATION OF HALOXYFOP AND PYRITHIOBAC SODIUM The present invention relates to a novel synergistic herbicidal composition comprising Haloxyfop-methyl and Pyrithiobac sodium formulated as an oil dispersion (OD). The composition is designed for effective control of weeds infesting agricultural crops. The synergistic interaction between Haloxyfop-methyl and Pyrithiobac sodium enhances post-emergence control of both grassy and broadleaf weeds. The formulation demonstrates improved biological efficacy, enhanced stability, and superior weed management performance compared to the individual application of each active ingredient. The invention further provides processes for the preparation of the composition and methods of its application for controlling mixed weed flora in crop fields.
