MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115984 A) filed by Aishwarya Subramanian on September 28, 2026, for Synergistic Botanical Composition And Method Thereof.
Inventor includes Aishwarya Subramanian.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a synergistic botanical composition (100) for spasmolytic and analgesic application that comprises a Curcuma caesia extract (102) and a Nigella sativa extract 104. The extracts are separately obtained using a low-temperature, non-polar fluid-solvating process, wherein pressure and ambient temperature are controlled to selectively extract hydrophobic, fat-soluble constituents while excluding water-soluble starches and reducing thermal degradation. The extracts are subsequently combined in an extract weight ratio ranging from 10:1 to 1:10. The Curcuma caesia extract (102) is configured to provide volatile monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and phenolic compounds, while the Nigella sativa extract 104 is configured to provide lipophilic quinones and fixed-oil constituents. The composition (100) is intended for spasmolytic and analgesic applications.
