Abstract: In recent years, ensuring continuous security inside banks has become a major challenge due to increasing theft attempts and the need for constant human monitoring. The main objective of this project is to develop a Swarm Surveillance Robot for the Banking Sector that can detect suspicious activities, identify intruc177ririMechately—al—err"se7.7-iis—Withi imii 7m rhuman intervention. The proposed system consists of Three small surveillance robots (swarm robots) that work together to monitor different areas of a bank such as entrances, corridors, ATM zones, and restricted rooms. Each robot is equipped with an ESP32-CAM module, which is used for real-time video monitoring and image capture. The camera helps in detecting unauthorized persons or abnormal movements inside the bank premises. The robots communicate wirelessly and can cover an indoor range of approximately 30 to 50 meters per robot, depending on the layout of the building. By working as a swarm, the overall coverage area is increased, ensuring complete surveillance of the banking environment. When a potential threat or intruder is detected, the robot instantly triggers an alarm sound and sends a notification with captured images or live feed to the security guard's mobile device or control system. The system also includes DC motors with a motor driver for smooth movement, obstacle avoidance sensors for safe navigation, and a compact chassis suitable for indoor environments. The proposed swarm surveillance robot is low-cost, scalable, and easy to deploy, making it an effective security solution for banks to enhance safety, reduce dependency on manual surveillance, and provide faster response during theft or unauthorized access situations.
