The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SWITCHABLE POLARIZATION MICROWAVE ANTENNA FOR NITROGEN VACANCY DIAMOND MAGNETOMETER A microwave antenna for a nitrogen vacancy center diamond magnetometer includes an adjustable partitional transmission line pair (101), each transmission line having at least two sections (102a, 102b) with a first characteristic impedance and a shrunk transmission line section (103a, 103b) positioned between them. The shrunk transmission line sections (103a, 103b) have narrower trace sections arranged parallel to each other to form an adjustable shrunk transmission line section pair (103). The antenna includes a dielectric layer (110) supporting the trace sections, a ground (105) beneath the dielectric layer, and a characteristic impedance adjustment device (104) configured to adjust characteristic impedances of the shrunk transmission line sections (103a, 103b) synchronously. The adjustment device (104) includes a movable ground portion beneath the shrunk trace sections, wherein movement varies the distance between the shrunk trace sections and movable ground portion.
