Abstract: Title: Sweat-Activated Microbiosensor Patch for Detection of Dehydration, Electrolyte Imbalance and Heat Stress The current technology pertains to a wearable sweat- activated micro biosensor patch (101) for non-invasive real-time monitoring of sweat biomarkers to detect dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, heat stress and heat- related physiological emergencies. The patch comprises a hydrophilic sweat inlet (108), a passive microfluidic arrangement (110), electrochemical biosensors (102) configured to detect sodium ions (112), potassium ions (113), glucose (114), lactate (115) and ammonium ions (116), together with an additional pH sensor (117) in one embodiment, signal-conditioning circuitry (119), an analog-to-digital converter (120) and an embedded artificial intelligence-enabled processing unit (103). The processing unit establishes a personalized sweat baseline (123), independently evaluates each monitored biomarker (124) and in one embodiment, determines a Biochemical Heat-Risk Index (127) for physiological assessment. The wearer's condition is classified into predetermined severity levels and corresponding alerts are transmitted through a wireless communication module (104) to a paired mobile device (105) for wearer guidance and supervisor notification. The disclosure enables repeated personalized biochemical monitoring during continuous wear without invasive sampling.
