Abstract: The present invention is directed to an optimized sustainable pervious concrete composition containing Fly Ash (FA), Calcium Carbide Residue (CCR) and Basalt Fiber (BF) as supplementary cementitious and reinforcing materials. The invention involves using Fly Ash and Calcium Carbide Residue as a partial replacement for Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) to reduce cement usage, provide utilization of industrial waste and minimize environmental impact. Basalt Fiber is added to provide additional crack resistance, flexural strength, split tensile strength and durability while maintaining the interconnected pore structure that is required for water infiltration. The resulting pervious concrete has better mechanical characteristics, hydraulic permeability and durability and can be used in pavement applications such as parking lots, pedestrian walkways, bicycle paths, residential streets, and stormwater management systems, all of which promote sustainability. The invention is a pervious concrete system that is environme
