Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and integrated apparatus for manufacturing Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) and Stone Plastic Composites (SPC) utilizing recycled or virgin thermoplastics and particulate fillers. The method incorporates isopropyltrioleyltitanate as a coupling agent, which initiates a reaction with hydroxyl groups on the filler surface during a kneading phase to enhance interfacial adhesion. The apparatus comprises a kneader configured to plasticize the mixture at 120 – 180°C, an extruder for shaping the extrudate, and a hydraulic press operating at 150 – 200°C and 100 – 300 bar to consolidate the composite. The resulting products, formed as boards, tiles, or panels, exhibit improved mechanical strength and moisture resistance enabling the effective use of recycled plastic streams.
