The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a sustainable cement-free lime brick composition and a method for manufacturing the same. The brick comprises hydrated lime as a primary binder, processed construction and demolition (C&D) waste, crusher powder, and a fermented bio-admixture prepared from kadukkai (Terminalia chebula) and palm jaggery. The mixture is subjected to hydraulic compaction and ambient carbonation curing for strength development without kiln firing. Carbonation and pozzolanic reactions produce a dense and durable microstructure with enhanced compressive strength and reduced water absorption. The invention promotes waste utilization, carbon sequestration, resource conservation, and environmentally sustainable construction practices.
