Abstract: The proposed invention relates to a smart, sustainable lightweight bio-composite panel reinforced with nanocellulose combined with an embedded sensing system for mobility applications. The panel consists of a multilayer sandwich structure including natural fibre-reinforced outer layers, a model or sensing layer capable of detecting load and deformation, and a lightweight honeycomb core with a bottom layer of Banana fibres reinforced with nanocellulose. The embedded sensing system that is embedded provides real-time feedback to prevent overloading and enhance safety while maintaining environmental sustainability. The invention provides a novel solution for a lightweight and intelligent load-carrying system that is efficient in modern mobility system applications.
