Abstract: In today's fast-paced world, adults face mounting pressures from work, personal responsibilities, financial concerns as well as management of personal with professional life. This led in a significant rise in stress, anxiety, and mental health issues globally. As per the Economic Survey 2024, there has been a rising incidence of psychological health issues among the Indian population, underscoring the requirement for comprehensive psychological/mental health strategies. In Maharashtra, mental health-related deaths have escalated from 26 in 2019 to 1,073 in 2022. This increase is primarily due to mental and behavioral disorders linked to psychoactive substance use. Many adults struggle to balance their professional and personal lives, often resulting in burnout, chronic stress, and feelings of isolation. The study aims to demonstrate how laughter therapy can be a viable and effective solution, not only enhancing mental health but also creating a sustainable business opportunity. For the purpose of this, data is collected from Working Professional & College Students, across Mumbai region considering different demo-graphic variable such as Age, qualification, Gender and it's co-related to judge the level of stress they undergo and how do they manage the same. Information regarding the acceptance of laughter therapy in an innovative business model is also analyzed. Data is collected using Survey technique. Random Stratified sampling technique is used for selecting sample and the sample size is 100 respondents. By examining this laughter therapy potential in a real-world business context, this research seeks to contribute to both the wellness industry and the broader societal need for accessible mental well-being solutions.
