Abstract: The present invention relates to a sustainable geopolymer concrete composition utilizing industrial by-products comprising fly ash and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) activated by alkaline activators including sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate. The geopolymer concrete provides enhanced compressive strength, reduced water absorption, improved sulphate and chloride resistance, low chloride permeability, and superior internal structural quality. The composition optionally incorporates micro silica and/or calcined clay to improve matrix densification and durability. The concrete is suitable for ambient or low-temperature curing without requiring Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), thereby reducing carbon emissions, energy consumption, and production cost. The developed geopolymer concrete exhibits compressive strength exceeding 52 MPa, RCPT values below 1200 coulombs, UPV values above 4300 m/s, and approximately 31% lower production cost compared to OPC concrete, making it suitable for marine, industrial, infrastructure, and sustainable construction applications.
