MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641071173 A) filed by Sr University on June 08, 2026, for Surveillance Device For Detection Of Suspicious Or Concealed Objects.
Inventor includes Dr. Santosh Kumar Henge.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: A surveillance device for detection of suspicious or concealed objects, comprises of a radar sensing unit 101 configured to generate radar measurements representing at least range and motion of objects in a monitored scene, an infrared sensing unit 102 to generate thermal image data representing heat signatures in the monitored scene, an optical sensing unit 103 to generate visible-light image data representing visual appearance in the monitored scene, a synchronization and calibration unit 104 to time-align the radar measurements, the thermal image data, and the visible-light image data and maintain cross-sensor calibration parameters, multiple modality-specific feature extraction units 105 to generate radar motion feature maps, an uncertainty estimation unit 106 to compute, in real time, a temporal suspicion memory unit 109 to aggregate and update fused representations across multiple time steps, and an output generation unit 110 configured to output at least one of: a suspicious-object detection result.
