Abstract: A surgical drape assembly (100) includes a drape body (102) having a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end. The drape body (102) receives medical equipment (300) through the first opening and the second opening. A first elastic thread (104A) is integrated along a circumference of the first opening. A second elastic thread (104B) is integrated along a circumference of the second opening. The first elastic thread (104A) and the second elastic thread (104B) circumferentially envelope the medical equipment (300) upon placement of the drape body (102) over the medical equipment (300). A clip (108) is attached to the drape body (102) at the first opening. The clip (108) engages the medical equipment (300) during insertion of the drape body (102) prior to full envelopment by the first elastic thread (104A). FIG. 1A
