Abstract: A shaft-less rotating electrical machine (1) is described. The electrical machine (1) has a stator (4) supported by a stator frame (8) and a rotor (2) that is mechanically connectable to a shaftline and is positioned radially inside the stator (4). The electrical machine (1) is prepared for transport and includes a support structure for stably supporting the rotor (2) inside the stator frame (8). The support structure includes one or more supports (14) that are positioned in the air gap between the stator (4) and the rotor (2), and one or more transport brackets (16).
