Abstract: ABSTRACT : SUICIDE GUARDER-cum-PREVENTER FAN is used to save the life of the depressed person who attempts suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan. Persons who have deeply depressed suddenly take suicide decision to end their own life by hanging from the ceiling fan. The ceiling fans are part of our daily life. The ceiling fans are fitted in homes / hostels / PGs / Lodges / offices / Schools / Colleges etc. There are many incidents, the depressed persons hang themselves and end their life. This incident come to light after some times and we are unable to save their life. In some cases, the victim was killed and portrayed as suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan. It is a great loss to their family members and friends. So, to save the life of depressed persons, the present invention named SGP Fan is being invented. When the depressed person stands near the ceiling fan for knot on the fan down rod using rope / nylon rope / bed sheet / cloth, the SGP fan sensor activate the buzzer to beeps loudly for about 3 to 5 minutes continuously. This beep sound may change the mindset of the depressed person and may drop the suicide attempt. The surrounding people after hearing the emergency sound , rush to the spot and rescue the depressed person from suicide. Suppose if the depressed person continues the suicide attempt by hanging from ceiling fan, the SGP fan system designed with spring type down rod, which move downwards because of the weight and may break. The depressed person get away from the suicide with little injuries. Once the people aware of this SGP Fan, they never try to hang from this ceiling fan. This present invention will save the life of the depressed persons.
