Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a multi-port antenna (100) that comprises a dielectric substrate (103) to support and provide a medium for propagation of electromagnetic signals, a radiating patch (102) disposed on substrate (103) and to radiate and receive electromagnetic waves, a plurality of ports (P1-P8) integrated with radiating patch (102) and to transmit and receive electromagnetic signals, a ground plane (104) positioned on the surface of the dielectric substrate (103) and to provide a reference for current flow, a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) structure formed within the dielectric substrate (103) comprising rows of metallic vias (101) and conductive layers including a top radiating layer and a bottom ground plane (104), to guide electromagnetic waves, reduce signal leakage, and provide isolation between the plurality of ports (P1-P8), and one or more tuning elements formed within the dielectric substrate (103) beneath the radiating patch (102) to adjust operating frequencies of the antenna (100).
