Abstract: The present application provides a substrate bottle loading mechanism and method. The substrate bottle loading mechanism comprises: a bracket, provided with accommodating recesses used for accommodating substrate bottles; liquid suction rod assemblies, connected to the bracket in a raising/lowering mode, wherein each liquid suction rod assembly at least partially extends into the corresponding substrate bottle to perform a liquid suction operation; position detection elements, provided on the respective corresponding liquid suction rod assemblies and used for detecting whether the substrate bottles are located in the respective corresponding accommodating recesses; and read-write assemblies, wherein each substrate bottle is provided with an electronic tag, the read-write assemblies are arranged corresponding to the electronic tags, and when the substrate bottles are placed in the respective corresponding accommodating recesses, the read-write assemblies read substrate information stored in the corresponding electronic tags. The present application solves the problem in the related art of low substrate bottle loading efficiency.
