Abstract: The present invention relates to a sub-threshold adiabatic logic circuit for energy harvesting Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The invention comprises an energy harvesting interface, energy storage unit, sub-threshold voltage regulator, adiabatic clock generator, subthreshold adiabatic logic processing unit, adaptive control module, energy, monitoring circuit, power management controller, output interface, and wireless communication module. The proposed architecture combines sub- threshold CMOS operation with adiabatic switching to reduce dynamic and leakage power while recovering electrical charge during logic transitions. Harvested energy from solar, thermal, vibration, or radio frequency sources is efficiently utilized to power autonomous battery-less IoT devices. Adaptive energy management dynamically adjusts processing and communication based on available harvested energy, thereby extending operational lifetime and improving energy efficiency. The invention is suitable for wireless sensor networks, wearable electronics, environmental monitoring, industrial IoT, healthcare systems, and other ultra-low-power embedded applications requiring reliable operation from harvested ambient energy.
