Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated attendance management system using biometric fingerprint authentication integrated with GSM communication and digital data logging. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller to control a fingerprint sensor, GSM module, LCD display, and buzzer for secure and efficient attendance tracking. When a registered fingerprint is verified, attendance is automatically recorded, the student name is displayed on the LCD, and an SMS notification is sent to the parent or guardian through the GSM module. The attendance data is also stored digitally in CSV (Excel-compatible) format for administrative use and analysis. The proposed system reduces manual errors, prevents proxy attendance, improves transparency, and provides a reliable and cost- effective solution for smart attendance management.
