The thermal imaging unit (21) captures thermal images of a building surface, while the IoT sensing module (31) acquires structural condition data for identifying crack characteristics including width, depth and severity. The processed inspection data is associated with location information, stored in the data storage module (81), displayed to the user, and wirelessly transmitted through the communication module (71) to a remote cloud platform or user device for structural health monitoring, analysis and predictive maintenance.
