Abstract: A cerebrovascular accident time awareness card (100) includes a portable card body (102) configured for handheld use, a visual symptom recognition guide (104) disposed on the portable card body (102) and configured to display stroke symptom indicators based on a FAST acronym, wherein the FAST acronym includes Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, and Time to call emergency services, and a writable time-recording section (106) disposed on the portable card body (102) and configured to enable a user to document symptom onset time. The portable card body (102) enables the cerebrovascular accident time awareness card (100) to be readily accessible during emergency situations without dependence on electronic devices, internet connectivity, or electrical power.
