The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a strap adjusting and locking system designed for tack articles used on animals such as horses, dogs, and cats. The system comprises a first locking component (2) affixed to a top strap (1), a second locking component (3) attached to a bottom strap (4), and a sliding lock mechanism (5) interconnecting both components. This innovative design eliminates the need for punched holes, ensuring enhanced durability, ease of adjustment, and security. By allowing smooth and incremental strap modifications, the system ensures a snug and comfortable fit for animals without compromising structural integrity. The materials used include metal, polymer, or composite materials, providing high resistance to wear and environmental conditions. The invention is applicable across various tack articles such as bridles, saddles, and harnesses, offering a versatile, user-friendly, and efficient solution to traditional strap adjustment mechanisms, thereby enhancing safety and usability.
