Abstract: [043] The present invention relates to a stimuli-responsive nanocarrier-based pharmaceutical composition for targeted delivery of anti-cancer agents to breast tumor cells. The composition comprises biodegradable nanoparticles encapsulating one or more therapeutic agents and functionalized with breast tumor-targeting ligands capable of promoting receptor-mediated cellular uptake. The nanocarrier incorporates stimuli-responsive mechanisms that selectively release the therapeutic payload in response to tumor-associated physiological conditions including acidic pH, elevated glutathione concentration, reactive oxygen species, hypoxia, or tumor-associated enzymes. The invention further provides methods for preparation and administration of the composition. The disclosed system improves tumor-specific drug accumulation, enhances intracellular delivery, minimizes systemic toxicity, prolongs circulation time, and increases therapeutic efficacy in breast cancer treatment while providing a scalable and pharmaceutically acceptable targeted drug delivery platform.
