Abstract: The proposed invention is a simple, reusable, economical, and user-friendly stencil for accurately drawing standard pneumatic circuit symbols used in engineering education, laboratory practices, and industrial applications. The stencil is designed with a series of predefined cut-out shapes corresponding to commonly use pneumatic components, including single-acting and double-acting cylinders, directional control valves, flow-control valves, pressure regulators, filters, lubricators, pressure gauges, and other essential pneumatic elements. The proposed stencil enables users to reproduce these symbols quickly with uniform dimensions and consistent geometrical shapes, thereby reducing the time and effort required for manual drawing. It also minimizes errors and variations in the representation of pneumatic symbols, particularly for beginners and students who are learning pneumatic circuit design. The stencil can be manufactured using materials such as acrylic sheet, plastic, metal sheet, or other suitable lightweight materials, making it durable and convenient for repeated use. The proposed invention provides a practical teaching and training aid for students, faculty members, technicians, and engineers involved in pneumatic system design and maintenance. It can also be used for preparing laboratory records, circuit diagrams, instructional materials, and basic pneumatic layouts. Thus, the proposed stencil offers a simple, low-cost, portable, and efficient approach to standardizing the drawing of pneumatic circuit symbols.
