The Stem trunnion trial apparatus (100) further includes gear (108) positioned between housing component (104) and sliding component (102) wherein gear (108) teeth (402) that engage with rack (206) of sliding component (102), dial pin (106) having cylinder (122) that passes through dial pin slot (120) and engages with gear (108), and ball plunger (112) positioned in ball plunger slot (308) and configured to selectively engage with one of plurality of cavities of sliding component (102) to secure sliding component (102) in selected offset position.
