The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.

Abstract: Provided is a steel sheet that can achieve both excellent hardenability and excellent cold workability even when a C content exceeds 0.90%. A steel sheet according to the present disclosure contains, in mass %: greater than 0.90-1.30% of C; 0.01-0.50% of Si; 0.20-1.30% of Mn; 0.100% or less of P; 0.100% or less of S; 0.100% or less of Al; 0.01-0.50% of Cr; 0.0150% or less of N; and the remnant being Fe and impurities. The total area ratio of ferrite and cementite particles is 95% or greater. The average particle diameter of the ferrite is 15.0 µm or less. The Cr concentration [Cr]? in the cementite particles is 2.65% or less. The Mo concentration [Mo]? is 1.30% or less. The average particle diameter of the cementite particles is 1.50 µm or less. The maximum particle diameter of the cementite particles is 5.00 µm or less. The spheroidizing rate of the cementite particles is 75% or greater.
