MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631106879 A) filed by Mohammad Amir Khusru Akhtar; Naghma Khatoon; and Sharmistha Roy on September 04, 2026, for Stateful Adaptive Security System For Multi-Turn Adversarial Manipulation Of Generative Artificial Intelligence Systems..
Inventors include Naghma Khatoon; Sharmistha Roy; Mohammad Amir Khusru Akhtar; Piyush Singh; Adyan Raza; and Md Kaif Raza.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The invention provides a device-implemented security gateway (100) for generative artificial intelligence systems. An intercepted interaction is sanitized and evaluated to derive security evidence, which is combined with a persistent session-associated threat state and multi-turn trajectory evidence. An adaptive intervention controller (170) comprising a weighted risk decision mechanism selects a graded security intervention, and a capability-control interface (180) modifies access to contextual memory, retrieval resources, external tools, application programming interfaces, data stores, or execution environments. An output validation engine (200) evaluates generated outputs and returns output-derived evidence for subsequent state updates. Controlled recovery maintains restrictions until recovery conditions are satisfied and restores capabilities stepwise. An autonomous red-team module (220) may test adversarial multi-turn trajectories in a separated test environment. The system provides stateful, real-time technical protection against staged prompt manipulation.
