Abstract: A standing and sitting assistive device for elderly and physically challenged users, comprising a rectangular base 101 having four telescopic rods 102 attached underneath base 101, ends of rods 102 are provided with motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 for a locomotion of base 101, multiple telescopic links 104, installed with suction cups 105 for stabilizing position of base 101 on ground surface, an inverted U-shaped telescopic member 106 disposed perpendicularly on top of base 101, two telescopic bars 107 enables user to acquire a support during standing up or sitting down, two telescopic bars 107 provided with clamps 109 for clamping with legs of a furniture for stabilizing base 101, two L-shaped flaps 110 attached with edge of base 101 by means of hinges 111, for positioning flaps 110 under furniture for additional stability, an imaging unit 112, determines position of furniture.
