Abstract: The present invention relates to an enteric-coated oral pharmaceutical composition comprising standardized bioactive peptides derived from seeds of Clitoria ternatea for management of insulin resistance. The bioactive peptide fraction comprises low-molecular-weight peptides having an average molecular weight below 3 kDa and is obtained through protein extraction, enzymatic hydrolysis, ultrafiltration, and purification. The composition comprises pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and an enteric coating that protects the peptide fraction from gastric degradation and enables intestinal release.
