MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511018865 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology Deemed To-Be University; and Shobhit University, Gangoh on March 03, 2025, for Stacked Ice Block Removing Device.

Abstract: A stacked ice block removing device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images of surroundings for detecting exact location of the ice block, threaded rod 3 equipped with a cylindrical hollow member 4 attached with a wedge-shaped unit 5, motorized omnidirectional wheels 6 to insert the unit between the ground surface and ice block and accommodate the ice block on the unit, motorized hinges 8 for tilting metallic elongated flaps 7 in a manner to grip the block in a secured manner and a BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor for rotating the rod 3 which in turn results in translation of the member 4 for lifting the unit along with the block from the ground surface.
