Abstract: ABSTRACT STABLE DISPERSIBLE BIOCHAR GEL COMPOSITION AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION THEREOF FOR AGRICULTURAL SOIL APPLICATION The present invention relates to a dispersible biochar gel composition (100) for agricultural soil conditioning and organic carbon delivery. The composition (100) comprises micronized biochar (102), humic substances (104), a dispersing agent (106), a rheology-modifying agent (108), a chelating or buffering agent (110), and water (112), wherein the rheology- modifying agent (108) and dispersing agent (106) form a gel matrix in which the biochar (102) is suspended. The invention provides a method (200) for preparing the dispersible biochar gel composition (100), comprising preparing (202) an aqueous phase with the chelating or buffering agent (110) and optionally a preservative (114), adding (204) humic substances (104), hydrating and incorporating (206) the rheology-modifying agent (108) to form a gel matrix, adding (208) the dispersing agent (106), and introducing (210) micronized biochar (102) under continuous agitation to achieve uniform distribution, thereby obtaining a stable gel composition (100) for uniform soil application.
