Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] A sprocket structure avoids a timing chain being erroneously engage with a groove portion is provided. [Solution] A cam sprocket 3 is fixed to an axial-direction end portion of a camshaft 16 provided in a vehicle engine 1, and a timing chain 5 is hooked on the cam sprocket 3. The cam sprocket 3 includes a tooth portion 31 to be engaged with an inner plate portion 51 of the timing chain 5, an annular portion 32 disposed to be spaced apart from the tooth portion 31 in the axial direction and having an outer diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the tooth portion 31, and a groove portion 33 disposed between the tooth portion 31 and the annular portion 32. A width Ws1 of the groove portion 33 in the axial direction is narrower than a width Wc2 of an outer plate portion 52 in the axial direction. The outer plate portion 52 is formed by a pair of outer plates 52A disposed on both of the axial-direction sides of the inner plate portion 51 in the timing chain 5. [Selected Drawing]
