Abstract: A spectrophotometric device for quantitative analysis of Minocycline Hydrochloride, comprises an enclosed housing 101 defining an internal analysis chamber, a feeder unit comprising a pair of hoppers 201 for separately storing a Minocycline Hydrochloride sample and a dissolution medium including hydrochloric acid, a transparent beaker 202 to receive and mix the Minocycline Hydrochloride sample and the dissolution medium, a vibration motor to generate vibrational sensation to the beaker 202 to achieve mixing of the solution, a spectrophotometric analysis module determines absorbance and characteristic wavelength of the dissolved solution, a processing unit to calculate absorbance, dissolution ratio, and concentration of Minocycline Hydrochloride based on comparison of emitted and received light intensity, a display unit 102 to receive a user input during the analysis of Minocycline Hydrochloride as required and to display real-time graphical outputs, a waste storage unit 208 to receive liquid from the beaker 202 to the storage unit 208.
