Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION (to be given along with complete specification on separate page) Clinical laboratory testing relies heavily on the careful collection, transportation, storage, and handling of biological specimens. When pre-analytical errors occur, it can result in specimen rejection, the need for repeated collections, increased costs, and delays in diagnosis. Enter the proposed SpeciRescue Al, an innovative adaptive Al system designed to evaluate the recoverability of compromised biological specimens and suggest the best corrective actions. This system keeps a continuous log of specimen handling parameters like temperature, time, vibration, orientation, and other environmental factors to create a detailed timeline of how the specimen has been treated. By combining this history with the type of specimen and the specific laboratory tests required, it can assess the current state of the specimen and generate a Recoverability Score. The AI-driven Specimen Rescue Engine pinpoints risk factors and explores potential corrective measures. Depending on the predicted recoverability, the system will recommend whether to Accept, Rescue, or Recollect the specimen, complete with a confidence score and a suggested corrective workflow. Ultimately, this system aims to minimize unnecessary specimen rejections, enhance laboratory workflow efficiency, and empower qualified laboratory personnel to make well-informed decisions regarding specimen handling
