The system analyzes incoming messages through a trained classification engine based on supervised machine learning classification algorithm such as Naïve Hayes to detect spam patterns with high accuracy. Messages are instantly categorized into Spam and Normal sections, enabling users to view, manage, and optionally reply to messages within a clean, swipe-based interface. The application supports real-time popup notifications, spam confidence scoring, and user feedback to continuously improve detection performance. Spam Shield operates with strict permission control and processes messages locally on the device, ensuring user privacy and eliminating dependency on external cloud services. Additional features include OTP-based authentication, dark mode support, notification management, and user-controlled message access.
