Abstract: The present invention, SOSZN, is a smart emergency safety system designed for tourists and travellers using a mobile application integrated with a wearable device such as a smartwatch. The system enables users to quickly trigger an SOS alert during emergencies through a simple interface. Upon activation, the system captures the user’s real-time or last known GPS location and transmits it to registered emergency contacts. The system also supports integration with emergency response services such as police and hospitals to ensure faster assistance. An advanced feature of the system includes a time-based activation mechanism, where holding the SOS trigger for a predefined duration initiates audio or video recording. This recorded data is transmitted along with the alert to help authorities understand the situation and take appropriate action. The system further includes a fallback mechanism that allows alerts to be sent through SMS in the absence of internet connectivity. In cases where the device is switched off, the last known location is shared with emergency contacts.
