MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617040905 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd.; and The Regents Of The University Of California on March 31, 2026, for Solid Electrolyte For All-Solid-State Battery And All-Solid-State Battery Including Same.

Abstract: Disclosed are: a solid electrolyte for an all-solid-state battery, which can be protected from moisture by chemically reacting a sulfide-containing solid electrolyte with an amphiphilic compound, for example, a material such as a surfactant; and an all-solid-state battery comprising such a solid electrolyte. The solid electrolyte for an all- solid-state battery is surface-modified with an amphiphilic compound having both hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups.
