Abstract: A sole cutting assistive device comprises of, a vertical platform 101 installed on a side portion of an auxiliary sole cutting machine, a user-interface inbuilt for enabling a user to give input commands, a telescopically operated rod 103 configured on platform 101 to extend in order to position rod 103 in proximity of sheet, a robotic link 104 incorporated into telescopic rod 103 to securely hold cutting dies over sheet, an imaging unit 106 paired with a processor for capturing and processing images of dies, a gripper 105 applies required pressure onto cutting dies for cutting sheet as per user-defined dimensions, a multiple suction cups 102 affixed to bottom of platform 101 to ensure stability of platform 101, a laser sensor is embedded on platform 101 for determining thickness of sheet, and a capacitive sensor is incorporated on platform 101 for detecting surface of sheet.
